Sass is not running globally - what could be wrong? add something to PATH?

Installing sass
npm i -g sass
This
gives me $ sass -v
bash: sass: command not found
Node and npm work correctly
$ node -v
v8.11.0
$ npm -v
6.9.0
Should I add something to PATH?
