sale.bestsellers component: is it possible to display the compare button as standard?

Hello!

The sale.bestsellers component has an option "Display compare button". It is also described in the documentation for the component. But when I turned it on, I did not see any button. I looked through the component template files - I don’t see anything even remotely related to the comparison.

Actually, the question is for those who have dealt with this component - am I such a blockhead, or is the functionality declared in the list of settings and documentation really not implemented in the standard template? I hope that the second option is correct, although this does not make it easier xD
