Russian blind typing after English?

In general, I learned EN blind typing by sawing letters off the clave with a file. Well, I wanted to.
I write in Russian with two fingers, and for some reason I lower my eyes to the erased clave. Tired.
But I ran into a problem - my fingers remember the EN layout. Those. when thinking about a sound (letter, association with it), the finger reaches for a certain key.
That is, it is even more difficult than from scratch.
Will there be confusion in the head and hands later? Or will both layouts work fine?

I learned the Russian layout back in the army in 2005, now I don’t even remember where which letter is, my hands are shoveling. A year ago I decided to study programming, and I realized that without the English layout it would be very difficult, I started the solo on the keyboard again, and in a few days I remembered the English layout (if you know one layout, it’s enough to go through the first 40 exercises, and then just practice typing)
There is not much confusion , if you do not look at the keyboard, or rather it was when the solo took place. Now, when I type English and Russian texts on duolingo every day, my fingers remember where everything is.
In general, it goes away, although sometimes I try to see where the English letters are, but because of this I only get confused))) It only helps to practice typing on a specific layout, when it comes to automatism, it will not matter which layout, you even talk about it you won't think.
