Running PhpStorm from remote server?

The question is, is it possible to run PhpStorm from a remote server, or rather, run it normally, because it didn’t work out for me =).
I installed PhpStorm on the server as it was done on a regular Mint.
Next, I mounted the folder with PhpStorm installed in my FS using sshfs.
Then stupidly called .../phpstorm/bin/phpstorm.sh, the storm started, but very slowly.
Is it possible to somehow increase performance, if the program is installed on the local machine, then it works perfectly.

Maybe you have a really very specific use-case, but an IDE on the server is usually a bad idea.

You need to copy it to the local machine and run it.
