Room accounting system
In our organization, the task arose of creating an automated system for accounting for premises.
It is supposed to create an image of a floor plan with the allocation of rooms (there are several buildings) and to place various information about each room (type of floor, ceiling, walls, doors, windows; availability of computers, network, projectors, fire extinguishers , lighting fixtures, furniture, etc.; dimensions / area; indication of the responsible person and a lot of other information, with which the information will expand). It is necessary to implement a multi-user mode of operation, i.e. someone can only view, someone can change.
It is desirable to have a history of changes in information about the object / room.
So here's the question. Can you tell me if there are ready-made solutions for such a plan?
For some reason, I got the idea to use a geographic information system for this, i.e. we form some map (floor plan), define objects (rooms) on it and indicate the set of properties of the object (s), but there are some doubts about the rationality of such a decision. Perhaps there are already some ready-made (paid / free) products that allow you to implement these functions? Maybe there is something that allows you to keep a register of premises without a map / plan, in principle, a floor plan can be donated.
