Robot on arduino, any prospects?
Good afternoon, I ordered an arduino uno and other parts from China, I want to ideally assemble a robot on rubber tracks with two manipulators and a camera that transmits an image to the sapper's screen, which controls the joystick. Do you think there is a prospect of such a demining assistant or for identifying suspicious objects.

Dima Kim : the opinions of experienced people are: if you are interested, do it (at least for self-development), if you are not interested, do not do it.
the chance that it will come to implementation is close to zero, since there are many such things and they are promoted by large companies.
besides, it will be extremely difficult to work with the camera and "identify suspicious objects" on arduino, because of its very low capabilities.
And arduino is a weak platform for this. You will need a lot of PWM legs, a lot of counters to control the servo. Also 2 manipulators. Look towards STM32. I, too, have long dreamed of setting up a platform like American rovers with servo motors on each wheel and trying to write a motion program for this.
