Return the PC to its original state when rebooting. How to find a hardware solution?

While on vacation in Thailand, I saw in computer clubs that after working on a PC, it was overloaded with power, and the system was booted from a certain recovery point, i.e. even if the user picked up a virus in the process of working / deleted important files from the system disk - it doesn’t matter, when you reboot everything will be reset back to a clean system.
As I understood from communication with local admins, with this solution, a certain pci-controller is installed in the PC, like our Accord / Sable, which intercepts access to the hard disk and caches them in RAM.
At one time I even found these boards on ebay.com, but now I don’t remember the keywords for searching.
I ask for help from the collective mind in finding what you are looking for)
P.S. I know about software solutions, I would like hardware ones.

When I worked in KK, we used a program that made a shadow copy of all disks, and rolled back after a reboot. Worked like a bullet, it was possible to set directories that do not need to be rolled back. We used Shadow Defender.
