Restrict traffic at work?
At work, there is a traffic limiter that prevents you from downloading files larger than 10MB in a row.
For example, I can't download https://www.jetbrains.com/resharper/download/ Resharper, the download will stop at the tenth megabyte.
Surprisingly, videos from Youtube are loaded normally, without brakes, but not from vk.com, the video download will stop at the tenth megabyte.
Question: How to get around this limitation?

No way.
In general, you need to work at work, not download files.
If you need it for work, contact your system administrator.
In general, this is nonsense, limiting the amount of traffic, if you really limit something, it's the connection speed. Important files are downloaded, but tons of videos are no longer available. The best for work. So put this question before the authorities. They themselves pay the provider for the channel, and not for the traffic, because paying for the traffic is the last century already.
Let's call a spade a spade. The problem is most often solved by beer to the administrator. If the problem is not solved this way, then this is not an admin, but ...... (here is a word that is often used for people of non-traditional orientation in a swear version). Most often, the restriction can be due to:
1. narrow channel
2. inadequacy of the above-mentioned frame
3. stupidity of the leadership (which thinks so to increase work productivity)
4. crooked hands of the red-eyed person. who read about the coolness of Linux and put it on the gateway. and does not take into account what is the dynamic distribution of the channel width for simultaneously working on the Internet.
to bypass the traffic, you need only one of two things:
1. be a close (very close) friend of the sysadmin
2. Give him a beer :D
maybe some utilities like sandboxie can help, but I doubt it...)
