Responsiveness in bootstrape. The layout breaks. How to be?

comrade professionals, tell me how to be, I'm a beginner, I made a simple layout for psd. the problem is that when you change the screen resolution, the layout breaks, the sidebar crawls onto the content, the footer jumps to the middle and there is a huge empty space between the header and the content? used bootstrap!
the code is as follows:
div class="container"
div class="row"
div class="col-md-12"
this container contains the header, logo, menu, bootstrap slider.
/div
/div
/div
div class="container"
div class="row"
div class="col-md-8"
in this container the content is on the left side.
/div
/div
/div>
sidebar on the right side.
/div
div class="container"
div class="row"
div class="col-md-12"
footer
/div
respectively, all alignment parameters are set in CSS, don't judge strictly, I'm learning..

@LA27

From the code, you

<div class="container">
  <div class="row">
    <div class="col-md-12"></div>
   </div>
</div>
<div class="container">
  <div class="row">
       <div class="col-md-8"></div>
  </div>
</div>
<div class="col-md-4"></div>
<div class="container">
  <div class="row">
    <div class="col-md-12"></div>
   </div>
</div>

It should be
<div class="container">
  <div class="row">
    <div class="col-md-12"></div>
   </div>
</div>
<div class="container">
  <div class="row">
    <div class="col-md-8"></div>
    <div class="col-md-4"></div>
  </div>
</div>
<div class="container">
  <div class="row">
    <div class="col-md-12"></div>
   </div>
</div>
