Responsive layout java android studio?

There is a java application. I write it in android studio.
Familiar with android development not so long ago. There is such a task that on two different screens, some elements of my application have different sizes. Not just stretched if the size is specified in dpi.
And some elements on different screens changed their location.
How is this implemented? How does is called? Or where can I read about it?
