Responsive layout, html elements don't look the same on iPhone as they do on desktop?

Why, when adapting to the fifth iPhone, the elements do not look as they should. For example, text inputs with shadows, although I fixed everything in css to remove the shadow, box-shadow: none !important; still submits, for example, take their form, no matter how I write rules in css. Why is this and where can I find info so that I can fix this, please tell me.
