Request data from REST api by one parameter from a set of data?

I may have formulated it incorrectly, I need to give a data set for specific parameters, for example, domains should come to me, and I should return all the information from the database via REST for them, only the problem is that there can be a lot of these domains, how then to be? As I understand it, you need to either return data for all domains upon request, or add a get parameter with the domain name (but then it’s also not very good, because there will be a lot of requests). How to do it right? Thank you.
