Replication between server and clients?

The task is to use Widows Server 2003 R2 to synchronize several directories between clients on Win XP Pro SP3 and Win 7 Pro Sp1
\\SERVER\Folder1\ ---> \\client\
folder1 only those that are needed or that will be new by the date of creation.
Naturally, all this should happen when the client is loaded (regardless of the time it is turned on)
Any ideas how to implement this?

robocopy on the client as a task to set up.

This is what I used. I think Google will offer a lot more with the same functionality.
Or is it necessary to implement it on a BAT-file?
