Replacing the battery on an iPhone 3G?

Good afternoon.
Recently, the battery on my iPhone 3g (3.7 V 1150 mA h) has become too fast, and accordingly I wanted to replace it. On the Internet I found a lot of ads for the sale of new batteries. Since I have to replace it, I would like, if possible, to install a more powerful battery, for example, from 3GS (3.7 V 1219 mA h)
Will such a replacement harm the device itself and what points should I pay attention to when choosing a battery?

I bought a battery for iphone 3G on ebay for 5 bucks. Rearranged. It is an order of magnitude worse than even a half-killed native battery. Chinese in the worst possible way. :(((Do not be stingy, buy more expensive and better.
And yet ... changing it to 3G is really gemorno. I collected and disassembled my iPhone 3 times. Either the camera did not work, then the speaker. The loops seemed to have been inserted, but they did not contact.

If you want more roomy, then you can take 1600mAh on ebay, the price is very low.

A lot of attention should be paid to the CORRECT sequence of disassembling the device. at the slightest mistake, you will break the cable, and of a high-quality battery.
