Replacing a Radeon HD 6960 graphics card with...?

Greetings. It is planned to replace the video card of the current Radeon HD 6960 with a more interesting performance version.
There is not much focus on games. Interested more stream-component.
Intel Core I5-2500
8 GB RAM.
Please suggest options for replacing the video card, suitable for the current percentage. without the need to replace it.
Preferably from the GTX 1060 area
