Removing watermarks. Is there a solution?

Due to the type of activity, it is sometimes necessary to remove watermarks from photos.
Tired of doing this with Photoshop, I thought maybe there are algorithms for automating these actions.
The watermark is always the same, I do not violate copyright here, maybe with the consent of the owner is done.

About 6 years ago, there was an article on Habré how to remove this very watermark with the help of php and the original watermark. I don't remember what it was called.
The idea in the article was quite simple - sort of like the pixels containing the watermark were simply xor'ed with the original watermark

There is a ready solution. I found the cleanlor.ru program, checked it on a medium-sized drawing that was covered with a white watermark - it worked for me. If you need to process a few photos, then you can meet the free version.
