Remove everything from the site without hitting the subdomain?

Friends, I decided to play it safe with the question:
There is a store, duplicated it on a subdomain.
If I demolish everything on the main site, will it not affect the subdomain in any way?

Well, if you see two different folders (not symlinks) in the file manager or in the console. And there are no tricky intersections at the file level, and there are no tricky redirects / symlinks to the main domain in the subdomain logic.
If you are sure that each site uses its own copy of the database (i.e. it is written in the file configuration, because just two databases are not enough.)
Then even in this case, I would recommend that you first make a full backup of the files and the database .
And then you can no longer be afraid to bang ...
