Remote work for a 17 year old girl - a philologist? This is real?..

Not a very simple situation for one of my former students.
Her father is suddenly diagnosed with cancer, and the girl panics a little.
Most likely soon she will have to live on her own.

She is a humanist by nature. Her education is generally philological.
I was engaged in a literary circle, in a photo circle ...
I went to my computer science (but more for the company).

Knows Russian, English, German perfectly well but not longer than general moments.

In general, she positive person and I would like to help.

Is there a REAL remote work for such beginners?

Good translators are always in demand. As an option, use freelance exchanges.

I have a friend decently earns money transfers through the Internet. Sitting at home, coding translates, sends, receives. Anything. Series, annotations, articles… Typical freelancing.

Freelancing is quite real.
But there is a critical note: just being a good specialist is not enough. You need to actively and persistently promote and sell yourself. At first, while there is no reputation and connections, you will have to meddle a lot in almost any place and work hard. If she is from the category of people who are waiting for the weather from the sea, freelancing is not for her, it’s a pity. And if so, then this position should be changed. Here (and indeed in life) you need to be active.
What exactly should she do:
1. Prepare a portfolio of existing work, for which she is not ashamed.
2. Be sure to create a profile on hh.ru and update it regularly (affects positions when searching for employers). To respond to remote vacancies of interest, to interview. Finding a job is real.
3. Google and appear on foreign exchanges on the topic. They pay more there. Start actively looking for orders there, responding to projects.
4. Google and appear on Russian exchanges on the topic. If nothing is caught on foreign ones, then in parallel to break through to the Russians.
5. If you have any additional hobbies, you can write your own blog about them. If the topic turns out to be popular and the writing is good, then over time it will be able to have a pretty penny on this.
In general, it is quite possible to reach a stable income. As I understand it, she has a little time for this. It is better to start using it immediately. I think that in a month or three everything will work out with stable work, and then - gaining experience and increasing earnings.

Why remote?
Recently I was traveling with one oilman in a bus, he said that in Sakhalin, ordinary translators after graduation receive 180 thousand for 2 months (the shift method is to work for a month, rest for a month).

There are many options. Of our exchanges, I can offer advego.ru. Himself there often ordered copyright and rewrite. There is also a section for translations. If you are not lazy, in a year it will reach the level of salary above the average for the city on the official. Maybe in a couple of months to gain experience and orders. The main desire is to be. And experience will come with time.
There are, of course, many more options. For example, one friend translates descriptions for porn videos for all sorts of porn tubes, earns about $ 2k per month.
PS Exchanges are oversaturated with "newcomers" who work "in a slipshod manner". If you are not lazy and try, then you can go beyond their limit. Well, then, turning around in the environment, she herself orients herself where and how.

I advise you to try translations or copywriting.
Exchanges I can recommend: contentmonster.ru and lingvomonster.ru

Here are some of our major freelance exchanges:
freelance.ru
free-lancing.ru
freelansim.ru
There are always translation/copyright tasks. Here on Habré there are still a bunch of articles and freelance tips - for example .

Try to get a job as a translator somewhere. Freelancing is a good thing, but as long as it develops there, it will die of hunger. “It will reach the salary level in a year” - and before that, there is a good chance to be without money. Three languages is very good. I would first of all post a questionnaire on hh and the like. You can take a vacation with your studies, by the way.
