Remote side sent disconnect message type 2 protocol error how to fix?
Hello.
There are many different servers, and you constantly have to work with several at once.
Access to servers via SSH, terminal + sftp via winSCP.
Some servers are accessed via SSH keys.
In general, the essence of the problem, when, for example, 6 different keys are open, and connected to these six servers, when you try to connect to the 7th one, which is without keys (but it does not matter, you can also go to the 7th one with keys) WinSCP writes an error
remote side sent disconnect message type 2 protocol error too many authentication failures
The only thing that saves is closing Pageant Putty, which accepts keys, but it's annoying, then add a bunch of keys again, each key has its own password, what could be wrong? How to fix it?
I do not think that the problem is in the ssh settings itself, since when Pageant Putty is disabled, it becomes normal.
It feels like some kind of limit on the number of keys or connections by keys
