There is a desire to implement a remote server based on windows 2012 r2 in which it will be possible to "twist" other operating systems on virtual machines for different tasks.

What you need:
1) Be able to remotely connect to the server machine via SSH and a graphical interface.
2) The ability to install other operating systems on virtual machines on this server on which sites can be located and so that they can be accessed.

What is:

1) A working laptop.
2) A laptop that will be used as a server connected by a wired connection to the router.
3) Static ip.

Bottom line:

You need a remote connection to the server and the ability to install / remove other OSes on it on virtual machines, without the need for a physical presence with the server.

На ноутбуке такое делать - плохая идея. Перегрев, тупка и торможение крайне вероятны.
