Remote access to information

I decided to stop using SVN for personal purposes for now and work, as they say, with what I have.

The best remote work solution is a VPN.
It is easier (and cheaper, I think) in this situation to replace the router with another one that supports VPN.
I myself use Linksys RV042 - this is a rather expensive solution, there is an easier one, for example, D-link DIR-615
The only thing you need is the external IP address on the router.

1) it’s real, you need a dedicated IP
2) it depends on the reliability of your provider
3) it’s not entirely clear what you mean by: delimit access rights ...
everything is real - everything is possible
“a computer at home” is not much different from “a computer in a construction site at a provider”.

Expand the dropbox everywhere and don't worry, crutches are not very appropriate here in my opinion.
