Registration and entrance to the site through the phone. What are the disadvantages?

Hello.
What, in your opinion, are the disadvantages for a dating service user if a phone number is used as a login, and not an email?
Those. everything is the same as for the classic email/password pair (registration, authentication, password recovery, email notifications), but using SMS as a message transport?
Of the benefits - automatic verification of a real user - there is no need to additionally request verification if a person has registered with a phone number, instant notifications even without access to the network, the ability to quickly contact the support service if the user wishes, etc.
What are the disadvantages for the user ?
Thank you.

Now, in my opinion, the number of users who do not want to once again give their phone is becoming more every year. Although, the target audience of a dating site may for the most part not be against it.

IMHO, only copying information (for example, access code, password) from the phone to the computer (not everyone has the same Messages.app). It really infuriates when the Internet bank sends an 8 + digit password with symbols that must be entered on the computer.

1. I'll go right now, I'll pick up a SIM card at the station at the distribution and register with you.
2. SMS notifications are extremely slow. From banks it comes to me and sometimes it happens with a delay. From ordinary services sometimes I wait 10 minutes. Plus it's also expensive. For notifications, use push notifications.
3. Do not forget that SMS is available only from a phone and only from one. I have a second phone where several services hang, and sometimes I forget to turn it on for several days. In short, then I look for it for a long time, turn it on to use the service, sometimes while I turn it on - I forget why I turned it on.
Even if it came to an active phone, I still sit at the computer more often, I can skip sms, or just run after it all the time - it's inconvenient.
