Well, for starters, throw out those libraries that the IDE includes by default in the project, in Eclipse it is support v4, in Android Studio as much as v7, but it provides AppCompat, that is, Material design on Pre-Lollipop (below 5.0), is it worth sacrificing them.
A few megabytes will no longer be, I didn’t look further, because. no need, if you have it and you see an even smaller application then apktool in your hands, and a drum on your neck!
