Redmine in Ruby, Trac in Python and even Bugzilla in Perl. And what are decent, open and free PHP project management systems?
Hello. My name is Alexey. I am PM. My team develops in PHP. And I'm not ashamed. We have been using bare Redmine as our main tool for almost a year now. And, in principle, they are happy with almost everyone (although there are also some angry little things there).
But sometimes we are faced with an itchy desire to customize something in the system (and not through the API), but there is no one. Moreover, sometimes there are free PHP developers in the team (and, therefore, starting a “ruby for redmine” will not be allowed from above). Question for connoisseurs: is there a PHP
project management system that someone has actually implemented in a team of at least five people of different professions and uses it for at least six months, remaining quite happy?
I would be very grateful for your recommendations based on combat experience
.
PS The desired system must have at least some integration with git and be able to differentiate access rights at least at the project level. Means for keeping track of time - also do not interfere.

There is such a code in redmine that you can easily figure out what is happening there knowing PHP.
almost no deviations from the rails.
therefore, in my opinion, it is worse to look for a solution only because it is not the most correct in a familiar language.
but in the case of traq.io/ , but something tells me that the code there is such that it’s easier to understand ruby
