Maybe someone came across a similar situation when they steal the password from ICQ and change the mailbox in the profile ...
Previously, when ICQ was not yet bought by Mail.Ru Group, the password could be restored to the last 3 specified in the box settings, or use a security question .
Is there anything similar now?
Is it even possible to recover? The room was working and a lot of things were tied ... they stole it by accident :(

If the number is “working” and communication with support does not help, just get a new one, and send it to all contacts in any way - to ICQ / mail / skype, etc.

It was possible to return the number by knocking from another number to your own and buying it back. Numbers are usually stolen to be sold back to you (often they even write in the properties of the number where to write to them to return - mail, etc.).
Now you can add your mobile number in the room and, as I understand it, use it to return the password if the mail is not available / changed.

And with such red tape and confusion that arose due to the sale and resale of ICQ, it is easier to make a new (or use the old) ICQ UIN, since chat clients now save all contacts that were in the roster, after logging out of your UIN - and add them again with apologies.
