Recommend monitor

Good afternoon, please advise the monitor.

I'm working on a laptop at work (lenovo t61) now I want to buy a monitor. The main requirement is the aspect ratio of 16:10 (16:9 is not enough, but 3:4 is no longer there). Price - up to $ 400 Looked after Philips

220P2E . He is normal? (I'm not strong in computer hardware at all). What else can you see? I work only with Word, Excel, PowerPoint. No games or movies are planned at all.

Dell 2209. I am very pleased with it. In addition, it has an e-IPS matrix.

If 16:9 is still acceptable, then I advise market.yandex.ru/model.xml?modelid=6207066&hid=91052&suggest=1 . I am completely satisfied. I work, I watch movies - there are no complaints. Well, as a bonus - built-in ARM 1000Mhz, 512Mb RAM, 1Gb MMC, support for flash drives / usb screws, IR remote control with qwerty keyboard (works at the hardware level like keyboard and mouse).

Initially, I myself wanted a monitor 1920 by 1200, I searched for a long time, chose, in the end, not finding anything worthwhile, I took 1920 by 1080, as practice has shown, it is enough for all tasks and for working with text in a Word and for programming, and so on, I don’t see the point in extra 120 pixels vertically, while we get fewer problems with viewing angles for a TN matrix.

Only philips have been at work for several years (an agreement with the importer) - different sizes and models. I don’t like any of them - poor color reproduction and apparently something with contrast, since even the dimmed brightness of the text is slightly unclear. Some models show ripples when operating in analog mode. So I would not opt for this manufacturer without checking. Now I’m sitting at Philips 220P and Philips 222E, and at home I’m waiting for a big iilama and Samsung with a warm lamp refresh at 120HZ…

I highly recommend paying attention!
ViewSonic vp2365wb, 23 inches, e-IPS, 1920x1080, excellent picture quality, nice to work with text, really good viewing angles, portrait mode (for Word\Excel\... reading pages from the screen in this mode is very convenient). A nice bonus is a 3-year warranty, including the matrix.
PS I spend at least 4-6 hours a day directly reading and working with text. The workplace should be comfortable, so I advise you to choose a monitor only on the e-IPS matrix.

I already ordered it for myself, but I’m still waiting for the delivery of the ASUS ML239H model - an inexpensive option with an IPS matrix, I hope it won’t let you down ... Alas, the aspect ratio is already 16k9
