Recommend different Open Source projects from Russia/CIS

Hey Habr!

We are making a donate platform with friends, a bit like flattr.com, I want to contact as many of our Open Source projects as possible, advise good projects (at any stage) so that we can host them, otherwise my imagination has already run out.

Thank you!

It always seemed to me that open source has no nationality, because people from different countries can take part in its development. Or are you talking about commercial firms producing commercial products but under free licenses?

The jtalks.org project (engine for the javatalks.ru forum ) is mainly developed by participants from the CIS, but people from different countries took part in it

For example: KolibriOS FlylinkDC++

In general, it would not be bad to write a list of what is already there. And others would benefit :-)
