Recommend books for those who want to become a successful CIO

Greetings.
I work hands. IT department, respectively, knowledge mainly in technical areas, I would like to further grow in the field of management in IT, the goal is to become an IT director. Advise what literature to read in the field of management and accounting, personnel management, production management, etc. to improve knowledge in these areas.

PS I'm already studying ITSM, but after reading Terry White's "What Business Wants from IT", it seemed to me that ITSM is only a small and far from the most important part of CIO knowledge and skills.

advise what to read to be able to program in C #, Java, write websites and create distributed applications, etc.
you asked like this. here, IMHO, books just can’t be dispensed with and read - here it is purposefully necessary to study. In your case, you need to read everything that comes to hand. so that knowledge eventually develops into a system. maybe you want to cover an enormous layer of knowledge too.

The example is not correct at all.
I'm not going to become a professional accountant or financier, I need the basics in these areas. What can you bounce off. And reading everything in a row is too ineffective strategy.

The higher the position of an IT manager, the more general (especially financial) management duties he has, and less IT specifics. That's all.
