What books do you know about programming 2d games?
Hello. Recommend a book on programming 2d games. I'm not interested in engines and their syntax, but in the creation process itself, preferably from scratch. Books where there will be more mathematics than programming on the topic of gamedev.

One of the best books in Russian:
Andre LaMotte and others - Secrets of Game Programming.
The book is old, but the process of creating the game itself, various interesting hacks and mathematical apparatus are very well and intelligibly described in it.
There is also: D. Konger - Physics for developers of computer games.
