Recommend an MFP for Linux with a LAN hole

Actually, I thought about buying a subject. We need a black-and-white (!) Laser MFP, preferably without a fax, to print and copy school essays, term papers and essays. The two main requirements are: an RJ-45 port for connecting through a router and the best possible work in Linux (specifically ArchLinux). The second most important is the cost of cartridges.

According to the budget, not a rogue, but paying more than 8 toad will crush.

I also want to hear personal experience of using printers under Linux, who has cheaper cartridges, who works better?

Preferably with links to Yandex.Market.

I took a Panasonic KX-MB2000 RU, 5 670r. On the market, lan and firewood for Linux are present. Toner about 1000r. worth the original for the flask.

miser pays twice. I will advise Kyocera - but not on a budget, though it is economical in maintenance and very convenient.
for example, Kyocera FS-1028MFP.

I support Kyocera, unfortunately after the crisis they raised prices, before that there were quite budget devices. As a plus, they have very simple refilling at home, unlike the same HP and Canon, and the relative simplicity of the design of the printer mechanics, I can’t say anything about electronics.
And yes, for 8k you will hardly find an adequate MFP with a LAN option =)

I myself use the HP LaserJet M1120n , it is very convenient, the toner resource is quite long, I have been using it for more than a year and no problems have been observed yet (not with a jam, not with soiling, not with anything else) ...

I have a Brother MFC-7840WR, I specifically chose to have drivers from the manufacturer. A very good MFP, there is not only LAN, but also Wi-Fi. True, it costs about 12 pieces and there is a fax :)
But the page with drivers for Linux won me over: welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public_s/id/linux/en/
True, there is a problem with the toner counter, which is my time was very annoying. It was clear that there was toner in the cartridge, but the printer refused to print, saying something like “no toner”. As a result, I somehow managed to reset the counter, it still prints normally (six months have passed). The cartridge costs, if I'm not mistaken, around 3 tr.
