As for the keyboard, I can’t advise - I myself am on a laptop, typing on it.
But as for the mouse, I did a grandiose research about a year ago (I went around all (Internet) stores, touched all possible mice). For the sake of interest, I looked in all price and thematic categories in order to make an informed choice based on the best price / quality ratio.
The only caveat: unfortunately, touch mice were not included in my research, because. at that time they had just begun to be sold in my country, and stood like an inexpensive netbook.
Requirements:
- High accuracy
- Wireless
- Ergonomic body, but without special rocket-science forms and other garbage that you need to get used to. So that you just take it in your hand - and it's immediately convenient
- Pleasant material
- A couple of conveniently located additional buttons for the thumb, but no more.
- Customizable buttons for different applications
Wishes:
- Beautiful design
- Rechargeable (I don't like changing batteries)
- A wheel that not only spins, but also presses left / right (there is nothing more convenient for scrolling through tabs in the browser, and Copy / Paste in the text editor)
- Charging indicator in the mouse itself
- Ability to easily change the DPI setting for increased sensitivity (handy in Photoshop and sniper shooters) Logitech Performance Mouse MX
won .
In addition to the fact that it meets all the requirements and (!) wishes, it also has nice bonuses:
- Works great on any surface (glossy / matte / denim / sofa / thick glass / ...)
- Has a small mechanical button under the wheel , by clicking on which the wheel stops “clicking”, and spins like a bearing, on energy (which is very convenient for Leprosy and other sites 100,500 comments long)
- The battery is a rechargeable AA battery, i.e. it (it) can be easily and cheaply replaced if such a need arises
- After the battery critical signal is given, the mouse can be used for at least a day
- The mouse can be used even when the battery is dead. A microUSB cable is simply plugged in from the front, and the mouse temporarily becomes wired
- The attentive reader has already learned this point from the previous one: recharging via MicroUSB.
A full charge is enough for a week. I don't know if this is good or bad, but you have the option to put any rechargeable AA battery in there. Maybe some super-mega-durasel-ultra will work forever, I have not tried it.
Cons:
- Actions for all buttons (except right and left) are configured in SetPoint, but application-specific actions can only be set to Back / Forward and Scroll Left / Right
- The first couple of weeks, instead of pressing the middle button (wheel), you can involuntarily perform a scroll left/right action with the same wheel. After a while, you will get the hang of it, and you will press everything “correctly”, but, nevertheless, this is not a very pleasant moment.
- There is no dock for recharging, where the mouse would be proudly placed at night.
I have had it for a year and a half, but (despite the cons) every time I use it, I get up. I am so pleased with her that I was not even too lazy to write it all.
There is no keyboard with buttons without gaps. Is that rubber, but I doubt that these will suit you. Even if the gaps are small, dust and dirt will still get there, but getting it out will be much more difficult for you.
I would advise you to look for a keyboard with a rubber pad on top of the keys) I have this on my laptop) it’s convenient and dirt doesn’t climb.
As it is written about my set) At the very logitech k360 keyboard and logitech anywhere mx mouse. Runs on a single USB adapter
I have a Defender Oscar 600 Black USB, the number of multimedia buttons is expanded by the fn button.
she is not afraid of dirt between the buttons, she survived a couple of pourings of tea.
Key travel is small but noticeable. there is room for the wrists.
oklick 555 s - keyboard, slim, low speed, silicone pad on top, no bells and whistles (there are additional keys for sound) - but the keys expand due to F), compact.
For many keyboards (at least popular laptops) there are silicone pads. Search ebay for "keyboard silicone skin". I haven't tried it myself so I don't know how easy it is. I periodically clean the clave of my laptop with alcohol from the outside; I blow out the dirt from the inside with a vacuum cleaner with a furniture nozzle.
