I'm interested in one thing: if you plug a SIM card into the GoIP gateway and connect the gateway to Asterisk, will we be able to receive SMS coming to the SIM card in the gateway through a landline phone (Cisco SPA525G2)?

No, SMS in GoIP is not related to SIP in any way, there is a separate SMS server for them
