Receiving and forwarding linux mail?

Direct your thoughts in the right direction.
Actually, the problem is that there are several mailboxes (6 pieces) on mail.ru, can anyone tell me what options there are in linux (debian) through the command line to pick up all the letters from them from the inbox and forward them to another mailbox? when collected by fetchmail, it dumps them all into one file, via getmail one letter = one file. Where should I move next?

I don't understand why collect mail from other e-mails and redirect it... isn't it easier to set up your own mailserver and do whatever you want on it?
