Receiving a call on android

I have a samsung s8500 phone.
There are physical keys for accepting / rejecting a call.
I carry the phone in a case, I receive calls without taking it out of the case, just by pressing the receive button.
Time to see if there are new messages and so on. - pull it out of the case by 1 cm and hold down the lock button.

I'm thinking of changing to android.
The problem is that in those models that you like (and almost all of them lately) there are only three physical buttons as such - a volume rocker and a power / lock button. All others are sensory.

Question: is it possible to receive a call on androids without the need to “uncover” the device, for example, by triple clicking on the lock key or something like that, by touching the physical buttons?

Using a headset can also help.

Some phones allow you to accept and reject calls with hardware keys, for example Galaxy SII / SIII allow you to assign a Home / Power button for this.

You only need two buttons. Under Android, there are a large number of applications for changing the behavior of hard keys. It is possible to select the action by long pressing the button, so that the usual functionality of the keys will not be lost. Applications require Root rights. So before buying, look at the same w3bsit3-dns.com whether it is possible to get Root rights on the selected smartphone.
For example ButtonRemapper ButtonRemapper
A year ago I used a similar application, everything works fine
