Realtek RTL8723de driver in linux?

In 2019, I tried to switch to Linux, set myself a synamon mint, but there was a big problem with Wi-Fi.
I couldn't put the driver (Adapter name: Realtek RTL8723de Wireless LAN ) on the axis, I had to switch back to Windows.
Not much time has passed, but still interesting: is this driver already built into the Linux kernel, or do you still need to dance with a pipe to install it?

@klepiku

see here

but in principle on ubuntu 21.04 and then on 21.10 everything should work out of the box

Why should it be built in? If the manufacturer did not consider it necessary to release the driver. The only drivers at the office. site only for Windows, and the same year that the adapter came out.
There is no need to dance when there are options ( https://github.com/smlinux/rtl8723de ), it is enough to play a couple of commands.
