Reading information from the matrix by one pixel. Is that possible?

Good day!
I have a question: Is it possible to read information from the photomatrix on a single pixel. That is, 1 pixel = 1 value (at least active or not.). The CMOS matrix should be better suited for such an experiment, since in it the reading takes place in the matrix itself, and in the CCD line by line. I thought that the matrix of photomatrix values \u200b\u200bmay help, but I don’t know if such a program is possible. I ask the community for help. Just curiosity.

@AlexSku

It is unlikely that the device will transmit one pixel to you. Most likely there will be a frame with progressive scanning.
Raw formats.
