Rdp without session blocking?

It seems like a simple task, a TV set with a computer is hanging, how to remotely connect to it from different places so that the picture remains in place? of the free ones, only teamviewer is in my mind, but in my opinion it is not the most responsive to manage, and disables the aero theme and changes the screen resolution. Has anyone had experience with something free?
