Raspberry Pi - is it possible as a standalone gaming environment?

Good day, dear friends.
The question is:
- Is raspberry possible as an independent gaming environment with its own exclusives?
-What language to write the game?
-How to bring it into the Raspbian environment?
-Will this be considered budget gaming?
-Pros, cons, possible and obvious reasons for the unpopularity of the idea.

It doesn't make much sense, because Pretty weak specs for a console.
It's like an anchor, because. the console is alive while writing under it. Nobody will write under it, because the more you launch your product on large platforms, the more you earn. Exclusives for adult consoles are usually made by agreement with the console manufacturer and this is a kind of "killer feature". Because only Sony or Microsoft can afford it.
There are quite a few options, but first of all it depends on the game and on the existing developers. The universal version is C++.
No. It won't work out economically. Check out the same Steam Machines. The idea is about the same, the giant Valve - the result is not fire ...

It is not clear what "independent gaming environment" is.
The essence of most gaming environments is either a convenient distribution or a convenient standardized development environment / API / frameworks that allow a large number of developers to create products and thus fill the list of applications.
And things like Raspberry PI and others are better used not as an independent environment, but as a platform for creating products, such as slot machines, various active components (for example, quest rooms in which you need to create a movable and programmable entourage) - that is, it is a ready-made environment for embedded.
