Raspberry Pi and dead laptop

I think the idea is already clear from the title of the topic? :)
Question: is it possible?
If the keyboard can somehow still be replaced with a USB cable and carefully inserted, then it is not clear what to do with a laptop monitor - is it possible to connect it?

You will need a special controller that will convert VGA / DVI to a certain matrix format and control its backlight. Finding a suitable one for your particular matrix, IMHO, is not realistic. It looks something like this:

And the keyboard in the laptop is most likely a regular PS / 2, only instead of a cable connector. And the touchpad is definitely the same.

You can find the answer to the question in the Rasperry PI FAQ: www.raspberrypi.org/faqs
What display can I use?
There is composite and HDMI out on the board, so you can hook it up to a digital or analogue television or to a DVI monitor. There is no VGA support, but adapters are available.
All that remains is to find how to teach the matrix to understand DVI, which I think is almost unrealistic. You can try to google - perhaps the Chinese are making transitional interfaces from DVI to the interface of LCD matrices

I found all the same a laptop that is absolutely not a pity (albeit a working one): www.nodevice.ru/equipment/notebooks_cat/roverbook_notebook/Partner_MD4_HPA_K6-2_475_4.3_12.1SVGA_DS_6022.html
Video: Trident CyberBlade i7; AGP2x; up to 4 MB of RAM is used as video memory.
It's not a pity, so I can physically test it on it, if anyone is interested. The main thing would be a person who would suggest where and what to solder / pull off / etc ... There will be a DIY article if the experiment succeeds :)

There are LVDS converters. There is an article for Rasp: www.chalk-elec.com/?p=1576
Another thing is that it is not always easy to determine the pinout of a laptop matrix.
