RAM settings in msconfig get lost, what should I do?

Good day gentlemen. Maybe someone can help with the problem.
The RAM settings in msconfig are periodically lost, instead of 8192, for some reason 256 is set and the computer cannot boot, in this case you have to boot into safe mode for half an hour and set 8192 back there and restart the computer.

Tell me what could be the problem :( I apologize if the question is noob :(
