RAM modules do not work in 3-channel mode at the frequency declared by the manufacturer (6 modules of 4 GB each). How to increase the frequency?
Installed 6 modules of 4 GB each (2 sets of RAM " XMS3 12 GB (3x4 GB) DDR3 1333 MHz C9 ") in three-channel mode in 6 slots on the motherboard .
Declared frequency and timings from the manufacturer: 1333 MHz (DRAM Frequency = 667 MHz) and timings 9-9-9-24.
At the first start, the frequency was automatically set to 1066 MHz, and in CPU-Z it shows the frequency "DRAM Frequency = 534.6 MHz", instead of the declared 667 MHz.
I go into BIOS (AMI) and set the frequency to 1333 with timings 9-9-9-24, save and reboot, but the BIOS and the system will not start (black screen). They try to set the same frequency, but with the longest timings and still does not start.
I reset the BIOS with the reset button on the motherboard, go back into the BIOS and set the timings 7-7-7-20 at a frequency of 1066, restart and everything works - so far I left this frequency and timings.
The motherboard supports frequencies of RAM modules up to 1600 MHz.
It has the latest BIOS version. I can take pictures in the BIOS, which are needed, for a clearer picture.
What could be the problem: why is the base frequency (1333) not set for these bars? How to expose it?
