I don’t understand rails, but as I know, there is work with the database. It is necessary to add to the application in the form a field for entering the code from YouTube, and when submitting, write the data from the form to the database. before that, of course, either add a new field to the video table, or create a "user_id - video_id" table. Before saving, of course, make sure that this is really a code from YouTube, and not some kind of injection.
