RAID 1 or RAID 0 which is faster?

The question is what will be faster in terms of reading files RAID 0 or RAID 1
I noticed that in RAID 1 the write is longer but the reading is much better, and the data is not as scary as it will be with RAID 0
But I still wonder what will be faster my RAID 1 or anyway 0

raid 1 mirror. Reading is faster due to reading from different devices, writing - at the speed of the slowest device in the bunch.
raid 0 - strip. Both writing and reading are accelerated to the average amount of devices.
If you have one device slower than the second, then reading on the mirror may be randomly faster because everything will be read from the fastest device.
But according to the mind - of course the strip is faster, especially on the same pieces of iron.
