I'm going to go cuckoo now. I sit, I work, and I constantly have to put quotation marks in the text. I don't know how, so I put it through alt + 0171 on the numeric keypad. But now the quotes are no longer placed. More precisely, it is placed, but not in a Word document, but in the address bar of the browser. That is, the document is closed and the main page of the browser opens in the same tab and it is entered in the line.

The problem was solved in the same way that it appeared. It's all about the NumLk button that I pressed when I tried to chase the cat away. I'm writing this in case my question is not deleted and someone someday stumbles upon it looking for a solution.
