Questions about licensing?
For a long time, questions have accumulated that it is possible to uncover accurately. But somehow doubt. Naturally, this is relevant on a global, not local, scale.
1. Many sites (we don’t take blogs) write in the terms of use that copying, modifying, distributing information is illegal, but then, under what conditions is it distributed by search engines? pictures too?
Will I be violating if their picture leads to their site, and the picture is saved with me? In fact, it is also an aggregator and a search engine, how is it done correctly?
2. Which Creative Commons licenses are suitable for placing (images) on your site?
3. Placement of a link to the author, this is correct: alt tag or bottom or bottom link - 'view authors' with the opening of a new window
4. What can be done with what is found without a license?
5. Images from blogs ala Livejournal? How to use them? Didn't find any licenses there?

IANAL.

What does "cheat" mean? You mean what licenses allow you to use someone else's images on your site? Then so.
If the site is obviously non-commercial, that is, it is not intended to make a profit, which means, in particular, that it does not host advertising, you do not sell anything there, etc., then that's it. Otherwise, those that allow commercial use, i.e. CC0, CC-BY, CC-BY-SA, CC-BY-ND.
> 3. Placement of a link to the author, this is correct: alt tag or bottom or bottom link - 'view authors' with the opening of a new window
So that the reader can easily obtain information about the author and license. It is not necessary to make this information machine-readable. If there is a signature under the picture, then you already designate the author, add a link to the license there as well - and everything is fine.

Nothing out of the scope of fair use.
