Questions about cordova inside?

Help, questions with mobile development from the web
1) Why do we need mobile applications if no integration with hardware is needed. Why not just create a link on the desktop of the phone, from where a person goes to the adaptive web from the browser.
Why bother developing mobile applications if specific contacts to the phone hardware are not needed ??
2) I found out in cordova that a website can be "plugged" into an application. And all links will work "inside" the mobile application. Roughly speaking, as it were, "a browser inside the application." And that's all. What are native applications for, why not web?
3) On the second option, the question may arise that the screen will be white when clicking on clicks until reponse returns. But this can be decided by SPA Angulary, which will turn all links into Ajax ones. But although if the site opens quickly, even this is not necessary. The window will quickly update.
4) The question may arise that non-native will be slow. But if it's a small site, let's say an online store won't hang??
