Question for developers of ipad\iphone applications. js, dklab_realplexor?

Introduction
A year ago, a project was made, the central place (in importance) in which was occupied by realplexor from dklab. A year or a little less has passed, and customers decided to make themselves ipad\iphone\android applications.
Ordered from another company. The guys from this office, after some resistance, agreed to try to become attached to the existing solution. They did it on android. But for the iPad, they suggested raising the XMPP server.
About dklab_realplexor:

  • on habré
  • on dklab
  • Project on githab

Briefly about dklab_realplexor
There are both server (php) and client (js) api for the server. In addition, it is possible to write additional api (we are interested in the client side).
Question
Is it possible to use js api in ipad application. If not, then how laborious it will be to make a client api for ipad \ iphone
PS I don’t know anything about creating ipad \ iphone applications. The question arose from the reluctance to insert a crutch into a system that has been working for quite some time.

I understand that you need a native application for all this?
If yes, and too lazy to implement api to access the service in Obj-C (or c / c ++), then you can, in principle, make an invisible UIWebView. Upload your scripts there and execute them on the UIWebView side.
The solution is very clumsy but will work (there is almost the same js as in mobile safari).
