Question about the book by Roman Savin "Testing dot com"
I have a question about the contents of the subject book.
There are two tables on page 182.
1) "Stage 1. Sketch of elements (Table 1)"
2) and "Stage 2. Combination of elements (Table 2)
" 1 lists the possible primitive cases and named Index_el_001, Index_el_002, etc. , but I don't see any mention of these indexes in Table 2!
For what purpose was invented by the author Tab. one?
I certainly understand that this question may need to be addressed to the author, but this is probably a common practice or not infrequently used approach among testers.

From the book:
Question: why did we assign a unique ID to each of the elements
in table. 1 if we don't use them? Answer: sometimes in the
table. 2 does not fit the content of the elements (as we
did), but the ID. Also, if the element has an ID, then it's just
handy for reference.
For example
• when discussing when you and your colleague have a copy of the
table. 1 or
• when I tell you about the matrix method.
