Question about software development on ios 7?

Hello! The topic is most likely hackneyed, but another newcomer who wants to program for ios is contacting you. At the very least I know programming, and with a friend I decided to write programs for home automation (that is, for specific customers for specific objects)
I wrote a simple program on xCode - it works on the emulator, but everything rested on the fact that it turns out that in order for the program to work on ios 7, you need to developer license required. In principle, $99 for a year for the iOS Developer Program is not very big money, but is it enough? - that's the question. And it seems like in this case there is a limit on the program's running time of 6 months.
Help advice please.
Thanks in advance!

A developer license allows you to run your apps on iOS devices for a year and release apps on the App Store. You can connect up to 100 testing devices to your account. There are no restrictions on the operating time of programs already installed on devices.

Where did you get this from? Or did you come up with it yourself?
