Question about first person?

There is an outlast game, I want to make a character in the same way, so that you can see the legs, arms and torso, and a full-fledged shadow from the Persian. I tried in every possible way to come up with something, but I haven’t been able to do it for two months, it’s just that the hands are not so effective, and the shadow is just the hands and that’s it. Tell me how to do it? Or how to stick a camera to the head on a character from a third person, but so that it rotates behind the mouse, and probably also need to do ik? For good animation, like resting against a wall and hands touching it, and so on? Help plz? Srvetu, lessons and literature.

You can place the camera where the head should be and make it a child of the body (head) so that it moves/rotates relative to the head, etc.

Look for something like "creating a character from the first person" + you can also from bourgeois sources.
